Best BBQ Ever!
On our drive to Atlanta for the family reunion, we made stops and spent the night in two cities- Nashville and Chattanooga, TN. Nashville was a fun town...lots of history and music, obviously. The next day/night was spent in Chattanooga. This is a beautiful city, with a lot to do. We rode the Incline Railway to the top of Lookout Mountain, where you can see 7 states. Then, we walked around Rock City- which was beautiful. The next morning, we went to church in downtown Chattanooga and then ate lunch at the best BBQ restaurant ever (for a yummy banana pudding recipe like one we had there, go to our cooking blog). A fun detour on our long drive.

The Not Bummer Summer
Pictures from some of the first days of our summer break...before the melting Texas heat hit. We've been doing a lot of reading, playing, pooling, and hanging out with friends. The girls have had a ton of fun with each other...most of the time, which makes this the Not Bummer Summer (for everyone)!
A Happy Father's Day
Fathers Day note from Kate (and Kate only, because apparently Taylor backed out after writing her name on the card, which Kate then X'd out). Cute enough to post!
Soccer Fans . FC Dallas Game
We took in an FC Dallas game this spring with Kate's soccer team, the Angels. Not only did the kids enjoy it, but so did Brian and I. Outside of the weather being absolutely perfect, Dallas won the game, the girls had a blast with their friends, and we had great seats to a really fun game. Every Dallas point scored is followed by fireworks at the park, which was a big bonus because who doesn't love fireworks? :) We are definitely going to be coming back for more.
It's the Most Wonderful {Busiest} Time of the Year!
Brian took some pics of the girls a couple of weeks ago- we were having beautiful weather and the leaves had just fallen...it was perfect. If I was really on top of things, these would be my Christmas cards.
